Dear Sand Springs band parent(s),

We hope you had a wonderful holiday break with your family.  It’s so nice to see the students again and we are looking forward to a great new year.  To kick off the New Year, our all-district tryouts will be held on Saturday, January 26th. at Union High School this year.  We are so proud of all their hard work and effort they have put into preparing for this audition.  A couple of things you will want to remember. Please make sure that your child eats a good breakfast on Saturday.  Students will also need to make sure and bring a sack lunch or money for lunch/snacks. We ask that the students dress comfortably because it is going to be a long day.  There will be quite a bit of down time so they may want to bring some homework to work on or something they can do during this time. We understand that most of our students are involved in other extracurricular activities so if you need to pick your child up from the school at an earlier time that is perfectly fine.  Thanks so much for allowing your child to participate in this year’s JH all-district auditions.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.   Thanks so much!

Musically,

Jeff Lyles
