Pryor Marching Contest

Saturday September 30

Call Times:  Drumline 10:00-11:00am rehearsal / Hornline, Guard & 8th Graders 10:30am to load semi

Drummers will load their equipment after their rehearsal.

Dress:    Show shirt and shorts for under uniforms.  

Temps for Saturday: Hi: 81 / Low: 55 / 0%chance of rain and light winds

Bring a chair or blanket and maybe sweatpants/jacket in case you get cold.  Also, bring your SS water bottle so you can fill it up and not waste a bunch of cups.  There will be a concession stand if you care to bring some money for that.  

Schedule:

     11:30am    Semi should be loaded/Grab lunch from visitors' concession stand

     Noon        Depart for Pryor

     1:00pm     Set up camp, unload equipment & construct props

     2:30pm    Everybody suited up and ready to move to warm-up

     2:55pm     Warm-up

     3:30pm     Perform

     3:45pm     Return to camp and hang up uniforms/wait

     4:15pm     Finals bands announced.   Remaining schedule will depend on outcome of finals draw.  Schedule will be posted on back door of semi.  

     Finals begin at 6:00pm and Massing is at 9:45pm

     We will depart after massing (assuming things go well ;) and should be home around 11:30pm and unload all equipment.  

Parents who want to come and watch, but who aren't bus sponsors:  The entry fee is $8 ($4 for kids >12) for all day and $6 ($3 for >12) for Finals only.  

Please note!:  The stadium is NOT at Pryor HS. From HWY 69, turn West (left) onto SW 1st St (at Charlie's Chicken & Arvest).  Go straight for 10 blocks and the stadium will be on your left.
